Our business practice :
Because we care about your pet's safety and well-being, we want to assure you that every effort will be made to make your pet's visit as pleasant as possible. We will provide a thorough assessment of your pet at check-in and go over any instructions and desires you have. We will use our professional opinion, knowledge, and experience to make the best decisions possible on behalf of your pet while it is in our care. We will call immediately with any questions or concerns we may have.
Hours:
We are open Monday - Saturday 8 am to 4 pm. The final pick-up time each day is 4 pm. Failure to pick up your pet on time WILL result in a late fee. Late fees will be determined on a customer-to-customer basis. Scheduling: You may book online or schedule via phone or messenger. Please drop off at your scheduled time and be prepared to leave your pet for approximately 4 hours. Express appointments are available for a fee and must be scheduled first thing in the morning. Early drop-offs are allowed, but please understand that we may not get to your pet until its scheduled time. Not every pet will take the full four hours. Depending on the breed, coat condition, etc. some appointments can take longer. We will call or text when they are ready. We are working with dogs after all. Some days don't go as smoothly as planned. Please be patient with us. We won't keep them longer than we need to. We also have limited kennel space so please be ready to pick up when we notify you.
Booking Appointments:
When booking appointments, we will require a credit card on file or a partial pre-payment of $25. This secures your spot and keeps the amount of no-call/no-shows to a minimum, allowing us to accommodate as many pups as possible. Your card will only be charged if you don't adhere to our cancellation policy.
Cancellations and No Shows:
Groomers' wages are commission-based. If you do not show up for your appointment or cancel last minute, not only do we lose out on fitting in another customer, but the groomer loses income. PLEASE be considerate. As a courtesy, we send emails and texts to remind you of appointments allowing you enough time to cancel if needed. We have a 24-hour cancellation policy. For a same-day cancellation, 50% of the grooming fee will apply. No shows (meaning no phone call or calling after the appointment has already started) 100% of the full grooming fee will apply. We will charge this to the card on your profile the day of your missed appointment. If we do not have a card on file, you will be expected to pay this before we will reschedule your appointment.
Best Practices:
-Please take your pet to do its “business” before we begin ours. We know accidents can and will happen but to ensure the cleanliness and safety of all pets we ask that they be given an opportunity to relieve themselves prior to their appointment. Also, consider limiting food or treats prior to their appointment time. (Upset tummies can result in longer groom times or our inability to complete services.)
-If you look in and see that our lobby is full, please wait outside. Too many dogs in that small area can result in chaos. We will get you checked in and out as quickly as possible.
-If you look in and see us still working on your pet, please hide! Your dog loves you and will more than likely get excited and rambunctious if they spot you. This makes finishing the groom very difficult if not impossible. Please keep out of sight until we are finished.
