Professional Pet Stylist
Requirements:
I
Must have completed a professional grooming academy or training program.
- Knowledge of individual breed trims.
- Ability to completely groom a dog with little assistance.
- Previous experience in a grooming salon setting.
- Loves dogs and brings a genuine excitement and commitment to working with them.
- Thrives in a fast paced environment and wants to be part of our growth and expansion.
- Is self-motivated to do the best job they can.
- Views teamwork and reliability as an important part of getting the job done.
- Is dedicated and willing to do what it takes to provide an excellent experience for our dogs.
Job duties Include (but are not limited to):
- Bathing and drying dogs
- Proper brushing/combing
- Trimming/Filing nails
- Cleaning ears
- Communicate with customers to understand what style they want for their pet
- Perform correct breed trims
- Perform quality grooms
- Maintain a quick pace with paying attention to detail
- Assisting in keeping the salon CLEAN (sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cleaning up urine & feces and/or other messes are common and frequent)
- Answering phones and appointment making, checking pets in and out of the salon
- Adhere to Elizabeth & Co's procedures to ensure the safety of all pets in our care.

- Must be at least 18 years of age. A genuine love for dogs & comfort level working with all dog breeds/temperaments.
- Strong communication, customer service and teamwork skills.
- Demonstrated work/other history of being responsible and reliable.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays.
